I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to be guided by Shikha in Pilates, and it has truly been an enriching experience. Her depth of knowledge—not just in Pilates but in overall holistic well-being—is remarkable. She goes above and beyond to ensure that each student receives individual attention, tailoring her guidance so everyone benefits in the best possible way.
What really sets her apart is her genuine care and dedication. She takes the time to understand your body, your strengths, and your limitations, and supports you every step of the way with patience and encouragement.
The studio itself is equally impressive. The equipment is top-notch and meticulously maintained, and the entire space radiates a calming, positive energy that makes every session something to look forward to.
I highly recommend Shikha and her studio to anyone looking to improve their fitness while also nurturing their overall well-being. It’s more than just a workout—it’s a truly uplifting experience.

About
not a studio. a wellness boutique.
Yoga Barre Pilates isn't a Pilates studio, and it isn't a Yoga studio either. It's a wellness boutique in Thaltej, Ahmedabad, working on multi-dimensional goals — physical, mental and emotional — with Yoga, Pilates, Barre and Aerial blended into one plan customised to what you're actually here for. It's also among the few studios in India built around that kind of niche, personalised approach.
Classes are capped at three people. That number is the whole design: it is small enough that an instructor can watch three bodies properly, correct what needs correcting while it is happening, and pace a session around who is actually in the room.
It sits inside a broader wellness approach, not just four separate classes. Alongside the movement practices, the studio also guides health and nutrition through Ayurveda and Naturopathy, and offers physiotherapy — part of the same plan, not separate services.
In-studio and online. Sessions stay personalised to your goals whether you practise at the studio or from home.

Movement work, paced by attention rather than by the clock.

four ways to move
Strength, mobility, precision and suspension. All four are included in every plan, so the week can be built around what your body needs rather than what you signed up for.

The Format
only three to a class
Most studios call twelve people a small group. Here it is three — which changes what an hour in the room can actually do.
people per class,
maximum
- 01
Personal Attention
Three people is few enough that your instructor sees every repetition, not a room average.
- 02
Corrections In Real Time
Adjustments happen while the movement is still happening, rather than being noted for next week.
- 03
Structured Sessions
Fixed days and fixed slots mean the same small group progresses together, session on session.
- 04
Limited Capacity
Three places to a class is a fixed cap, not a promotion. It is why enrolment runs through the Intro Pack.

The Founder
shikha's own path
Yoga Barre Pilates started as Shikha's own experience, not a business plan — years of cycling through weight gain and loss before a 2018 Vipassana course reframed how she understood the link between body, mind and emotion. Nine years on, that same understanding is still what the studio teaches.
